1. Labeled and quality products
Try to buy those cosmetics which are labeled as water resistant. Read label of eyeliners, foundations, mascara, or blush before buying. The package should clearly indicate that they are water-resistant and wonât run out. If weather is hot or there is humidity, use water based foundation as oil based makeup can melt in heat. Use spray on foundations or cream to powder one. They are suitable and ideal for everyoneâs skin in humidity, rain, or heat.
2. Start with moisturizer
Before doing makeup, apply a small amount of light water based moisturizer on face. Leave it for 5-10 minutes. Let your skin to soak moisturizer well.
3. Move on to primer
Apply foundation primer. This works as barrier between skin oil and your makeup. It also smooths your skin and prepares it for further makeup. It also resists water, humidity, and heat. Before applying mascara or eyeliner first apply primer to eye lids and then apply them. Use it on lips as well before applying lipstick.
4. Thin layer of foundation
Always use thin layer of foundation. Thick layer wonât give you better results for waterproof makeup and also it wonât make your skin look natural. 5. Pat some face powder
Take mattifying face powder and apply it on face with brush. This will make your makeup waterproof as it absorbs excess oil. It prevents your makeup to breakdown in heat, rain, or humidity. After applying face powder set it with a tissue or puff. Remove the excess powder with brush.
6. Makeup fixer spray
Makeup fixer spray works as makeup setter. Spray it on your face after doing complete makeup. Spray from distance to get natural look rather than sticky one. Spray it for 30 seconds and make your makeup set. This will create a barrier between humidity and your makeup, and your makeup wonât run.
7. Lip sealer
Lip sealer will seal your lipstick for long duration. Apply it before applying lipstick. Keep it for 30 seconds and then apply lipstick and gloss.
8. Keep a tissue paper handy
Always keep tissue paper with you. In case of sweat or oil on face blot them with tissue by pressing gently on your face. This will absorb excess oil and keep your skin free from oil.
9. Cleanser
To remove waterproof makeup always use cleanser specially designed for this type of makeup to prevent any damage to skin. Apply cleanser on skin and wipe with cotton. After this wash your faces with mild face wash and apply moisturizer.
