4 Easy fixes for a tired looking face

A tired looking face can spoil your complete look. Looking like a zombie is not a great idea, especially if you are heading out for that big day at work, collage or may be on a date! Listed here are 4 easy fixes for a tired looking face.

1. Hydrate

Ensure to drink lots of water all day or may be few glasses of lukewarm water in the morning if you are on the go. Splashing cold water on your face will give you that freshness. Using an ice cube to rub on your face before make up will give you that natural glow and you can also spray or apply rosewater to sooth your skin. Try to have a cup of green tea every morning to detoxify your system and rejuvenate your mind.

2. Clean up

Regular cleansing, toning and moisturizing your skin are very important. Make sure to remove your make up before going to bed and if you don’t have much time for all the three, just wash your face with a mild soap- free herbal face wash and apply the right night cream/moisturizing cream for your skin type. Also exfoliate (herbal works best) your skin with regular intervals to remove dead skin, black/white heads, excesses oil and dirt. You can also use face packs made of fuller earth, lemon juice and honey for fresh glowing look.

3. Make up

Choose a sunscreen for your skin type and keep the makeup light. Use concealer to cover up dark circles/marks and blend it well, then apply some kajal, mascara and chose a darker shade of eye shadow. If you wake up with puffy, baggy and dark circles around your eye try splashing ice cold water on them and rest two slices of cucumber or potato for 10mins max. Highlight your cheekbones with highlighter/ Blush. Keep the lips soft and natural with rosy gel based lip-gloss.

4. Unwind

Stress & tension can cause server damage to your body, lack of sleep, anxiety and all this shows on your face making it dull and lifeless. Make sure to sleep well. Try yoga, gym, dance or may be something that makes you happy from inside. Have a positive mind and eat healthy food. You can include raw fruits, vegetable and nuts to your diet.
