1. Hot Oil Hair Masque
Using this Masque twice in a months duration will rehydrate dry hair and also prevent the occurrence of dandruff.
1/2 cup of olive oil
1/2 cup dried leaves of rosemary
Combine olive oil and rosemary leaves in a saucepan and place over low heat while stirring the mixture until it turns warm. Remove and strain the mixture to obtain the oil. Use this oil to coat the hair and scalp. Then wrap the hair with a towel to retain the warmness. Heat helps open the pores of the scalp and soaks in the essential oils. Leave this on for a duration of 15 minutes and wash well twice to clear out the oil.
2. Deep Conditioning Masque
This masque helps revitalize dull and damaged hair while strengthening them from the very root to cut out split ends.
1 jar of full-fat mayonnaise
1/2 of an over ripe avocado
The avocado needs to be mashed with a wooden spatula or spoon until it becomes creamy and soft. Now mix the full-fat mayonnaise to this avocado and blend well until its one color. Use your fingertips to run this mixture into the hair and blend well. Amply apply this across the hair ends too and cover the head with a damp and warm towel for a deep conditioning effect. You can also use a shower cap to cover the hair. Leave this mixture on for at least 20 minutes and then wash it off with cold water.
3. Enriching Masque
For hair regeneration and proper nourishment use this protein rich conditioner which is very effective and yet mild for everyday usage.
2 Egg Yolk
2 tablespoon Olive oil
1 cup filtered or distilled water
Beat the egg well until it turns frothy. Add oil to this and continue beating for a clear blend. Add the water and apply it well over the hair while massaging this mixture into the scalp. Thoroughly rinse the hair.
4. Honey and Oilve Oil conditioning Masque
Conditions and nourishes hair from the root for bounce and luster.
2 tablespoon honey
3 tablespoon olive oil
Mix honey and olive oil well. Use this thoroughly on the hair and scalp. Cover the hair with a shower cap or plastic wrap. Leave on for 15 minutes. Later rinse well to remove honey and excess of oil.
5. Fenugreek Masque
Works on various hair problems including dandruff, falling hair, baldness, thinning hair, split hair etc.
1/2 small cup fenugreek seeds.
Soak the fenugreek seeds overnight and make a paste. Use this paste to massage the scalp and hair. Leave this on for 20 minutes. Wash it using a mild shampoo.
6. Pepper and Lemon Seed Masque
Helps grow long hair.
3 tablespoon powdered black pepper
3 tablespoon powdered lemon seeds
Combine both grounded black pepper and lemon seeds to make a paste using water. Apply this over the hair and scalp. Let it stay on for 15 minutes then rinse it off with cold water.
7. Banana Masque
For Strong, shining and Voluminous hair.
3 tablespoon of mayonnaise
1 tablespoon olive oil
Puree the banana after peeling it off in a blender. Then add mayonnaise and olive oil to it. Mix well and apply the masque to hair. Leave it on for 30 minutes and then wash off with warm water. Add some essential oils to this mixture before application if you cant bear the smell of mayonnaise.
This mask is reusable if packed in an air tight container and refrigerated well.
