Is bare escentuals makeup bad for your skin?

My friend bought a brand new starter kit of bare escentuals makeup last week and apply it in all over her face.Suddenly it cause blazing sensation on her skin.She thought that that this is due to her sensitive skin.But I read many reviews about bare escentuals and most of them was negative .Is there any bad ingredients that cause blazing sensation like this or any other reason ?Please tell me your opinion if you ever use it?
