Are big Buddha bags sturdy enough to be carried every day?

My girlfriend is quite fond of bags, but ironically, she spends really less on buying them. Moreover, she has a Prada bag on her that she rarely tales out fearing that it might get ruined. Its her birthday in a few weeks now, and I was thinking of gifting a bag to her. The other day I saw her looking at a Carrie Big Buddha bag, and I was quite sure that she liked it! Nonetheless, since she didn’t buy it for her, do you think it would make a great gift for her! Does anyone own Big Buddha bags over there? I wanted to know if these bags are sturdy enough to be used every day! Please revert with some suitable advice at the earliest!
