Eyebrow Shaping for long face

Hi, my face shape is long. I have heard that proper eyebrow shaping can really help a great deal in the way you look. I need suggestion how should I shape my eyebrows this time. I want my face should appear a bit shorter.I have read somewhere that flat eyebrow shape is perfect for long face. It helps the long face to look shorter. Kindly tell is it true and going for such eyebrow shaping will really help?
