Since you have got hooded eyes then I'll advise you not to go for something very bold that makes your eyes look more prominent. You should go for a thin border of eyeliner ( may be black or brown), a touch of kajal and some mascara. For eye colors go for lighter shades. You can mix and match two different shades to make them look trendy. Even if you apply some bold colors then apply them gently and in little amount.
You asked about purple eye make up. Here are some tips for it:
1. Apply a darker shade of purple color near the top lashline to the outer corner of the eye and in the crease. Lightly apply a shade of peacock blue to the centre of the eyelid. Finish eyes with a cream color to the brow bone and inner corner of the eye.
2. Extend the wear of eye shadow by using a crease proof base like Island Bronze Eyesicles eye color. It is available in Mary Kay mineral eye color.
3. Apply cheek colors on your cheeks and matching lipstick (maroon shade will suit it) to complete the sophisticated look.
Quick Tip:
For darker purple shade you can opt for Midnight Star, for blue shade go for Peacock Blue, for Cream you can select crystalline. Golden copper cheek color and whipped berries lipstick. These colors are available in MaryKay Cosmetics.
