Are Macbeth shoes a sturdy option for skateboarding and bikes alike?

I am looking for some great option in skateboarding shoes, as my running shoes from Nike are not really great at being flexible while skateboarding. Somebody advised me of Macbeth shoes that they hold quite good and firm while skateboarding, however, since I am someone who switched from bike and skateboarding quite often, I am looking for a sturdy and long-lasting option that would work for me in an affordable manner! Can you guys please tell if Macbeth shoes are worth buying in my case?
