Would a personalized jewellery be a suitable gift for niece on her christening?

My niece is really special for us and in fact, she is quite lucky for her dad as well, since he got his first major promotion after her birth. I was thinking of buying personalized jewellery for her christening, nonetheless, I am a bit apprehensive, as I would like her to keep it with her, and that it is liked by her! I would just like to know whether some funky personalized jewellery would be a good option as a gift from me, and that she could keep with her for a long time! Please advice!
