How to repair hair damage caused due to using flat iron?

I use flat iron for my straight thin hair to keep them look in order, but it actually has resulted in excessive hair damage, as my hair looks fizzy and dry, even after applying a leave in conditioner. Although I have stopped using flat iron on my hair for almost a month now, but my hair do not show any positive signs. I have also increased the intake of vitamins in my diet, but it doesn’t work on hair damage. Going to spas for a hair treatment doesn’t sound feasible to me. Therefore, can some expert tell me, what else do I require to repair my damaged hair now?

I would like to help you with this issue. It is not at all recommended to iron your hair quite often. There are certain facts which I would like to share with you to give you a clear idea of the same. It is recommended that you must use the hair iron, only after cleaning the hair. It can be very harmful to use before you clean your hair. The reason behind this is that the grease left in the hair, will be cooked by the heat of the hair iron. And this will further damage the hair. You must know that once hair follicles are dead, new hair will not grow back but, you can certainly make sure that you do not lose any more hair. This requires care. Now you need to be careful with your choice of hair care products. Be sure of the ingredients in your shampoo and conditioner. You need to find the ideal products and frequency of using them. You should always avoid combing your hair, when it is wet. Apply coconut oil regularly will. It would be best to apply it at night. I hope these tips if followed wisely will help you keep your hair healthy. Moreover, you must avoid using iron frequently on hair.
