Is size 8 in a pair of shoes from Nine West similar to this size in Betsey Johnson shoes?

I saw a pair of Betsey Johnson Tiara (Black multi) shoes on their website, which was a high heel, and it looked simply stunning to me! However, since my shoe size is 8, and I wear shoes of size in range of 8 and 8.5 only, I was wondering whether the pair of shoes that I liked would fit me properly or not! I have a pair of pumps from Nine West in size 8, and I would, thus like to know from you guys whether a size 8 in Nine West brand would make similar size in Betsey Johnson shoes! Can somebody please help me, as I have wide feet, and therefore, I need to be quite careful about the shoes that I buy?
